Stop Building 'Good' Lists. Start Building Lists That Win.

Ten seats, bring your army, you get lists that win.

You Already Know Something Is Wrong

You take the units the internet says are good. You watch the videos. You read the tournament lists. And you still lose games to armies that look objectively worse than yours.

Then you go back to the app, delete half the list, rebuild it, and do the same thing again next week.

That is not a knowledge problem. You know the rules. The problem is a list that was never built to answer one question: "How do I create a victory point differential in my favor?"

The table doesn't care what the internet thinks.

Winning Is Not Just About Killing Your Enemy's Army

Winning is about creating a victory point differential in your favor. Once you accept that, list building stops being a shopping exercise and starts being a design problem.

Every list you build gets run through the "3 Pillars of List Building" - the Happy Krumping Method.

  • Disposition Scoring

Which disposition are you building to score, and which are you prepared to deny your opponent? Almost nobody asks this before they start drafting their list.

    We solve this!

  • Unit Role Mapping

A technically strong unit doing the wrong job is a liability you paid points for. Good is not a property of a unit. It is a relationship between a unit and the job you need done.

    We solve this!

  • Deployment

Every matchup has three maps you could draw and multiple ways to deploy on each. You find out which one when you walk up to the table scrambling for a plan.

    We solve this!

Jonathan Arkin. Second highest scorer at the 2026 World Championships.

Four years on Norway's national team. Three years at the singles World Championships. Four students taken from zero to the World Team Championships to represent their countries internationally.

He is also a doctor of chiropractic neurology who taught postgraduate neurology for a living before going full time as a Warhammer and mindset coach, which means his working life has been pattern recognition under pressure with incomplete information. That is the same skill this game asks for, and it is the reason his coaching does not sound like anybody else's.

He does not teach you to copy lists from the internet or to move models around in a certain template. He teaches you to design lists which solve problems.

Hear from my coaching clients

  • Name
    Emil Saeternes
    Goal
Originally wanted to win a GT, then wanted to make the WTC. Both done, the WTC two years in a row.
    Learning
I don't need to destroy my opponent, I just need to score more points than my opponent. That changed a lot of the decision making. My games got cleaner and not as messy as they used to be.
    Recommendation

I would 100% recommend your coaching. People who have started to think, I want to become a better 40k player, I want to step out of the local area stuff, those people really benefit from it.

  • Name
    Brian Yonkin
    Goal
To improve his ability to think strategically after taking a leadership role with the fire department.
    Learning
I've learned so much in a short period of time. Even the first two sessions were mind blowing to me, and every week after that I learn multiple different things.
    Recommendation

100%. It's been great value. I tell a couple of guys in my local group and they're like, I want to. I was like, you should just do it.

  • Name
    Marc Sokolowski
    Goal
To develop from casual to competitive, and eventually rank top 10 in his country.
    Learning
I don't feel the need to scan the internet, YouTube, Reddit for all the information I could get. I focused on myself and on what my army does. I saved a ton of time and was a bit calmer, because I learned what to look out for and what I can ignore.
    Recommendation

You don't learn tennis if you don't have a coach. I would have had to spend three to four years and probably would have quit earlier, like many people do. So yes, you absolutely have to get a coach for this. For me, it's clear.

  • Name
    Michael Schoose
    Goal
To become a consistent 4-1 player and get his first GT win.
    Learning
You identified right away that I wasn't having the right mindset when I built lists, and I wasn't viewing the roles of the units in my lists the right way. That in and of itself has singularly had the biggest impact on my performance.
    Recommendation

100%. It's really changed the way I view and see the game. Not only at the tabletop, but even in the prep.

WTC 2026. Second highest scorer.

Six Sessions. Ten People. One List That Works For Your Playstyle!

Sessions 1 and 2

11th edition scoring works VERY differently from 10th edition scoring. Preparing you to score your dispositions and to deny your opponent's dispositions. This is the concept of creating a "Victory Point Differential". Don't worry about the Meta, Defy the Meta.

Sessions 3 and 4

What to take, why to take it, what is inefficient, and how to fit the units you love into a list that still works. Jon reads your list himself (First 10), tells you what it is actually doing, and suggests the changes. You rebuild it according to the feedback and bring it to the sessions.

Sessions 5 and 6

Deployment. The part most players leave until they are standing at the table. Jonathan teaches you to understand the core principles of deployment. What and why to deploy first and how to outmaneuver your opponent before the game even starts.

Format

6 sessions, each one hour, with a top 100 coach, live. 1x Lecture with Q&A, followed by an active workshop where we put your learning to the test, so you are actively learning as you build your lists using Jonathan's Happy Krumping Method.

Accelerated learning by a qualified doctorate-level educator who gets you back to enjoying & winning your gamesThe one that matters

Why $67?

It is not $600, which is what the other accelerators charge. It is not half of that, which is roughly 1.5 months of one-to-one coaching with Jonathan.

It is $67. It is the price of a nice lunch.

$67 is just under the cost of a single coaching call. That is the whole calculation. This is the first time we are running this cohort and it will never be this cheap again.

2025 golden ticket

Working with Jonny helped me understand the game in a more fundamental way. Allowing me to understand the roles and purposes of units when to save them, when to trade them. The biggest thing I appreciated about working with Jonny was he works with your play style rather than have you chase the meta. His help led me to my 2025 golden ticket. 5 stars

Erik Akutsu

I have accelerated my progression as a player because of these coaching sessions. Both from getting feedback back on my games I have played, but also in the list concepts and developing good playing habits while playing. One of your strengths as a coach is the honest, direct and actionable feedback. I will give this a 5 star. ⭐️

Lucas M

The coaching calls were really useful. They opened my eyes towards concepts i still use in most of my games. The coaching definitely helped me to become a better competitive player. 5/5

Will B

Lives in Norway, Dodges me, Might dislike carbs. I've worked with Jonny off and on over the years and I would recommend him as a coach. At all skill levels there is a step of "you don't know what you don't know." Jonny is excellent at identifying that and drilling down to the root of the problem to help players elevate their skill to the next step of the Warhammer journey. 5 Stars

Raymond P

Winning my first RTT

5/5 on coaching. Tok me from being an average player to winning my first rtt. Great style of coaching, and great guy in general.

Joshua Kammert

Coaching Session 5 Stars! Received concise, no BS feedback on questions. Helped with analysis paralysis. Will get again.

Pete

Best Discord channel if you want top tips on a variety of factions. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. It really helped me get better at playing a few different armies, with Jonny often dropping in himself reply to questions on various channels. Can fully recommend 5/5 stars

James

10/10. Flexible to your needs as a player. Flexible time slots. Presents problems in easy to solve ways to ler you come to your own conclusions. Doesn't echo chamber unless he really agrees with what you are doing. Helped with focusing as a player, look at different angles rather than just throwing stuff at the problem until something sticks

Emil S

First GT win. A spot on Team Norway

Unmodified roll of 6 on the coaching. Sessions were flexible, and we could always pivot to the aspects of the game that required more detail at any given time. Took me from average to winning my first GT and getting a spot on Team Norway

Andrey V

Undisputed 5 stars! Jonny was one of the first people to properly explain how competitive play works and getting me into it.

Dj V

Five star coaching! Doc Krump is going to teach you how to master the fundamentals that are going to make you successful with any army! He will also teach you how to think outside the box of traditional uses for certain units that will make you an even stronger Warhammer player

Brian Y

Shows up on time and knows his stuff. Experienced based teaching style that matches your personal need to the individual. Doesn't suck

From casual player to competitive mindset

FIVE OUT OF FIVE! From Casual Player to Competitive Mindset I've been working with Jonny for over a year, and he has completely transformed how I approach Warhammer. He helped me transition from playing casually to practicing with clear purpose and intent. Jonny meets you where you are as a player, tailoring his approach to your specific goals while pushing you to grow both on and off the tabletop. I genuinely wouldn't be the player I am today without his coaching. If you're looking to elevate your game, I can't recommend Jonny & the Happy Krumping community enough

John R

5/5 Doc Krump's one of the best players in the world, but you already know that. What you should also know is that his time is invaluable - he meets you where you are, gets you to believe in yourself as a competitor, and has a staggering depth of insight into every corner of the game.

Here Is The Deal

The ask: show up ready to learn with your lists. That is the whole ask.

The promise: every single person in the cohort gets a planned learning experience where they put what they've learned into practice live!

In return, you give us your honest feedback, 10 mins no more. This is the first run and we want to hear what you loved about it.

Ten Seats. Not A Marketing Number.

Starts September 30th 2026 at 7:30 PM CEST. Six weekly sessions. It runs on a minimum of five people and it caps at ten, to maximize learning opportunities for each attendee.

Questions

Do I need a competitive army already?

No, and if you have fewer reps, learning the method matters more, not less. You bring the models you own.

What if my faction is not one Jon plays?

The Happy Krumping method is faction agnostic. It is about how you think and what your list is built to do, not which codex it came from. Jon coaches players, not armies.

How much time does it take?

Six hours of sessions. Compare that to the dozens of hours a month most players spend building lists in the app and deleting them and not knowing why.

What if I miss a session?

Then it's gone. This is live for the learning for a reason - we may release the recording later but we want to encourage everyone to attend every session!

Is this beginner or advanced?

It is for anyone who is losing games they feel they should win. That happens at every level.

Ten seats. One list that wins.

Two Options

An ork slumped over its blade on a lost battlefield

Keep building lists that look good on the internet and losing games you should win in person. Keep copying the list somebody went 5-0 with and going 2-3 with it.

An ork warboss charging forward, weapons raised, army behind him

Or spend $67 and start running every list you build through the Happy Krumping Method and have the confidence to win your games.
